Audit log

1. 1Open Moderator in the dashboard and go to the Audit log tab.
2. 2Pick Combined or Split under Log channels.
3. 3Pick the channel(s) and events as described below.
4. 4Click Save.

With Combined, everything goes to one Log channel. Under Events you switch each type on or off. All are on to begin with. Pick None (logging off) as the channel to log nothing.

With Split, you pick a channel for each event. Moderator actions are split further into Warnings, Timeouts, Kicks, Bans and Automod deletions. Removed timeouts go under Timeouts and unbans under Bans. An event set to Off is not logged.

You can use the same channel for several events.

• Moderation: warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans and unbans done through the bot or automod, with case number, moderator and reason. Plus messages automod deleted.
• Messages: Message edited shows before and after, Message deleted shows the content and names of attachments. If the message was sent before the bot started, the bot does not know its content.
• Members: Member joined (with account age), Member left, Member banned, Member unbanned, Nickname changed and Member roles changed.
• Roles: Role created, Role updated (name, color and permissions) and Role deleted.
• Channels: Channel created, Channel updated and Channel deleted.
• Other: Voice: join, leave and move and Server settings changed. Mute and deafen are not logged.

Member banned and Member unbanned fire for every ban on the server, including ones made directly in Discord. The moderation event only covers actions through the bot.

Under Ignored channels you pick channels where edited and deleted messages are not logged. Changes to the channel itself are not logged either.

With Don't log actions by bots on, edited and deleted messages from bots are not logged, and neither are bots joining or leaving voice. It is on by default.
