Movie night

1. 1Turn on the Movie night module.
2. 2Type /movietime and start typing the movie title in film:. After two letters the bot suggests movies from IMDb.
3. 3Type the start time in time: as HH:MM, e.g. 21:00.
4. 4Optionally add a date in date: as DD/MM. Without a date it is today, or tomorrow if the time has passed.

The post gets the movie poster from IMDb and a text like "Tonight! At 21:00" or "Tomorrow! At 21:00". The time is shown in each person’s own timezone. If there is no poster, the bot writes the movie title instead.

1. 1Open Movie night in the dashboard and click New movie night.
2. 2Search for the movie and pick it from the list.
3. 3Pick the date, time and channel. Add extra text to the post if you like.
4. 4Check the post under Preview and click Post movie night.

Under Movie nights you see every upcoming movie night with the number of sign-ups. Participants shows who answered what.

With Edit or move you change the time, reminder and text. If you move the time, everyone keeps their answer, and the bot replies under the post and pings those who answered Going or Maybe.

Cancel strikes the post through, adds a red box saying CANCELLED and pings those who answered Going or Maybe. Past and cancelled movie nights are under Earlier.

Open Movie night in the dashboard, pick an Announcement channel and click Save. You can also use /movieset. Movie nights are then posted there, and only you get a private confirmation.

If it is set to None (use the command channel), the post goes in the channel where you use /movietime.

The bot needs View Channel, Send Messages and Attach Files in the channel.

Pick a Cinema channel under Channels on the Movie night page. It is the voice channel you meet in. New movie nights get a link to it in the post.

When the movie starts, the bot replies under the post with "starts now!" and the cinema channel, and pings those who answered Going or Maybe.

The movie night gets the Going, Maybe and Can’t buttons. Before the start, the bot pings everyone who answered Going or Maybe.

With reminder: you choose how many minutes before the start the reminder comes. Default is 15, and 0 turns it off.

You cancel a movie night with /moviecancel. Only the host or someone with Manage Server can cancel. The post is struck through and gets a red box saying CANCELLED, those signed up are told, and no reminder is sent.
