Emojis: gallery, upload and /add-emoji
Add custom emojis to your server from emoji.gg, upload your own or copy one from another server.
About Emojis
Emojis is a tool that is always on, so there is nothing to turn on on Overview. At the top of the page you can see how many free emoji slots the server has.
Gallery
The Gallery tab shows thousands of emojis from emoji.gg, made by their users.
- 1Search in Search for an emoji, or filter with All, Animated or a category.
- 2Switch on the toggle next to an emoji. The bot fetches it from emoji.gg and adds it to the server.
- 3Switch the toggle off again to remove the emoji from the server.
Upload an emoji
- 1Open the Server emojis tab.
- 2Click the box under Upload an emoji and pick a picture (PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP).
- 3Type a name in Name (letters, numbers and _). It must be 2 to 32 characters.
- 4Click Add to the server.
Still pictures are scaled down to 128 ร 128 pixels automatically. A GIF is left as it is so it keeps moving, but it can be at most 256 KB.
Server emojis
Under Server emojis you see all the server's custom emojis and who added them. Use the pencil (Rename) to give an emoji a new name, and the cross (Remove) to delete it. You click once more to confirm.
The /add-emoji command
In Discord you can add emojis directly with /add-emoji. By default it needs the "Create Expressions" permission, and only you can see the reply.
/add-emoji emoji:Paste a custom emoji from another server and the bot copies it here./add-emoji image:Attach a picture instead (PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, at most 256 KB)./add-emoji emoji: name:Give the emoji a name (2 to 32 characters, letters, numbers and _). Without a name, the original name or the file name is used.Still stuck? Ask on our Discord server or write to support@rimfrost.dk
