Set up your own bot (Bot Personalizer)

With Bot Personalizer, all of RimFrost's features run on your server through your own bot. You create the bot in the Discord Developer Portal, connect it in the dashboard and add it to the server. RimFrost then leaves the server by itself.

1. 1Open the Discord Developer Portal (discord.com/developers/applications) and log in.
2. 2Click New Application.
3. 3Give it a name, accept Discord's terms and click Create. You can change the name later.
4. 4If Discord asks for a 2FA code, enter it.

1. 1Open the Bot tab and scroll down to Privileged Gateway Intents.
2. 2Turn on Presence Intent, Server Members Intent and Message Content Intent, then click Save Changes.
3. 3Leave Requires OAuth2 Code Grant switched off.

1. 1Open the OAuth2 tab and click Add Redirect under Redirects.
2. 2Paste the address below.
3. 3Click Save Changes.

1. 1Stay on the OAuth2 tab, click Reset Secret and copy the Client Secret.
2. 2Open the Bot tab and click Reset Token.
3. 3Confirm with Yes, do it! and enter your 2FA code if asked.
4. 4Copy the token that appears.

1. 1Open the server in the dashboard, choose Bot Personalizer and click Set up bot.
2. 2Confirm that the steps above are done, paste the Client Secret and token, and click Connect.

1. 1Click Authorize bot and approve in Discord. You are sent back to the dashboard afterwards.
2. 2Go to Server Settings, Roles, and move the bot's role to the top.
3. 3Once your bot is on the server, RimFrost leaves the server by itself.

If you click Disconnect, your own bot stops and its token and Client Secret are deleted. The bot stays on the server as offline until you delete it in the Developer Portal or kick it. RimFrost does not come back by itself: the dashboard shows a bar with Connect again, where you add RimFrost again. The server setup is kept.
